CUSTOM MADE Medals - We can manufacture medals to your own design in a variety of sizes, shapes and finishes, using one of several techniques. They may have a 2 dimensional image, which means that all the lettering and image is at one level. On the other hand, the image may be 3 dimensional, with a sculptured design and multiple levels.

These medals are usually struck in brass or a copper alloy (bronze), and then electro plated in either gold, silver or bronze (antiqued copper) finish. We can also manufacture in precious metals or, at the other extreme, cheaper materials, but it is sensible to discuss this with us.

Higher relief can be more easily achieved by die casting in a zinc material. This method may also offer lower costs for longer runs, but die stamping will usually give a finer finish.

COLOUR - Enamelling can be used to striking effect. With the advent of new materials, it is much in vogue at present. Given an appropriate design, we regularly use colouring techniques to add an extra dimension to the medal.
